In my cart
I recall during the pandemic a neighbor remarked on the frequency of my package delivery pile up. I admit it! I love online shopping. Pretty packages tied up with string, these are a few of my favorite things this month.
I’m eclectic! And I love collecting beautiful Interior coffee table books. I’m flat out obsessed with this Mara Hoffman squiggle dress. If it has a puffy sleeve, you know I’m there. I also like the graphic and illustrative nature of Florence Bamberger, not to mention Florence is influenced by Roman art and Picasso. I feel a great affinity for her (I love Greek art and Matisse). I can picture this vase sitting pretty on my nightstand, full of peonies.
I really must tell you about Buly, purveyors of the most beautiful packaging and luxury beauty products. I feel so special treating myself to new undergarments and lavishing my skin with oils and creams in beautiful packaging from Paris. It’s called self-care. Is it self-care to look at aspirational designer clothes? I don’t know. Maybe. Visualize the person you want to be and you will become her. We have in our cart this Noguchi Akari pendant lamp to hang in the dining room. You might see it pop up on Instagram. We have a Noguchi style ceiling pendant in the living room that I love. If you aren’t in the budget for the real deal, there are other options.
I have long lusted after the 1970s Superstudio grid table. I don’t know if the tile tables on Instagram are still the rage but they’re definitely trickling down to mass markets. You can buy on Urban Outfitters now. I once thought I’d make my own tile coffee table but that was a flight of fancy. I don’t diy. This horned resin table ticks a lot of boxes for me and has made its way into our bedroom design. Click, add to cart, ship it to me! Jason and I are planning our escape to the desert where we will live this poolside lifestyle. Until then I’m creating an urban cactus garden on our balcony and we have a Mylle pool. I do love that this is outdoor furniture!
As a candle maker, I’m always interested in candle holders. I also really love Mexican art and pottery, the generational artistry of it all. This shop owner began following me on Instagram and I’m so glad she did! This candelabra is waiting to be ordered. I would be so proud to see my own candles held up by another artist’s work. I have been using this Wonder Valley Olive Mud Mask for about 2 weeks now and love to soak in the bath while the mud seeps into my pores. It’s another one of those pretty packages lining my shelf. And finally, our last “add to cart” is this euphorbia drupifera which we secured from a local botanical shop. I have to wait a few more weeks for the shop to pick it up in Florida but am so excited to add it to my plant family! Along with the horn side table, it is part of our bedroom design.
